Since 2016, SoftwareOne (formerly Crayon) and VodafoneZiggo have completed multiple projects together around Software Asset Management. The value delivered by SoftwareOne has ensured that the relationship has developed into an unofficial partnership instead of a traditional customer-supplier relationship.

Maximum value from IT investments

One of SoftwareOne's most recent projects at VodafoneZiggo was the implementation of the 'packaging street'. The implementation of this ‘packaging street’ guaranteed the automation and standardization of (parts of) the software application and the rollout process.

This delivered a core SoftwareOne promise – that the efficient use of the software will lead to clients extracting the maximum value from their IT investments.

Required expertise within the organization

Another area of success is the ongoing operational collaboration between SoftwareOne consultants and the VodafoneZiggo teams. SoftwareOne consultants have been deployed on-site to strengthen and support VodafoneZiggo's Software Asset Management teams.

As a result, VodafoneZiggo can independently manage its core Software Asset Management processes effectively and efficiently, without the need for permanent support from SoftwareOne. In this way, VodafoneZiggo always remains autonomous. The expertise it builds-up stays within the organization.

Of course, SoftwareOne is always available should specific knowledge and expertise be required at particular junctures.
